Rocky’s Rotisserie is a vision formed by Chuck ”Rocky” Rachwitz, Steve Allen, and Dan Meier.
We all have one thing in common; we love food, which has brought us together to open Rocky’s Rotisserie. Our mission is to serve simple food well in an energetic and friendly environment. For centuries, the kitchen has been a symbol of family and togetherness, so we wish to extend our love for cooking to you and your family, whether you eat in or take out.
Chef Chuck “Rocky” Rachwitz was corporate chef of the Chuck Muer restaurants before landing his own Rocky’s of Northville, which has won numerous awards in the area. He formed a partnership with Chef Steve Allen to open Steve and Rocky’s in Novi. Steve has also won numerous kudos locally and nationally. Rocky is an avid hunter, having many trophies to show for it. Most mentionable is the bear located at Rocky’s of Northville, which weighs 900 pounds and has been featured in the local papers. |

Chef Steve Allen, first partnered with Rocky at Steve and Rocky’s, has trained some of the great chefs of Michigan. Chef Steve previously worked at the renowned Golden Mushroom Restaurant in Southfield, MI. He trained under the first Certified Master Chef in the United States, Milos Cihelka, (Co-Owner of the Golden Mushroom along with Reed Ashton). He then assumed the duties of Executive Chef for another five years upon Chef Milos' retirement.
Chef Dan Meier is the former chef at Rocky’s of Northville. Dan’s passion for food has earned him numerous awards in many regional and local cooking competitions. Dan has worked up the ranks with both Steve and Rocky. |
